A 30 year old Rajput woman was burnt alive by her own family in Chota Aspur village of Western Rajasthan after she had an inter-caste marriage.Girl was allegedly burnt alive for marrying a man from a different caste. She had returned home after 8 years. Rajasthan is a northern Indian state bordering Pakistan. Its palaces and forts are reminders of the many kingdoms that historically vied for the region.
