The 13th General Convention of the Nepali Congress (NC) kicked off in the capital city on Thursday. NC Acting President Ramchandra Poudel inaugurated the convention at a special function at Khula Manch. The four day-long general convention will elect a new leadership, amend the party's statute as well as hold deliberations and endorse the policy and program of the party for the next four years. Preparations for Nepali Congress (NC) General Convention scheduled for March 3-6 have reached the final stage. Contact offices of NC in Kathmandu have been decorated with party flags and banners.
