Modi's Masterstroke: Indian PM visits Pakistan after 11 years; Nawaz Sharif himself received him at airport.Prime Minister Narendra Modi was in Pakistan on Friday afternoon - his first visit to the country - where he is expected to meet his counterpart Nawaz Sharif on the way back from Kabul. Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif embraced India’s Narendra Das Modi when greeting him at the airport in the southern city of Lahore. The visit, the first by an Indian prime minister to Pakistan in more than a decade, coincided with Mr. Sharif’s birthday.
