His show dance was idiosyncratic and he should have chosen his dazzling week three jive to reprise in the second half of the programme.There’s no doubt that actress Georgia May Foote’s joyful Chicago-themed Charleston was the dance of the night and could conceivably have edged her the trophy in those final minutes of voting. Still, McGuiness’s impression of a matador in the Paso Doble he chose to dance instead of his jive was so convincing I had to keep checking his partner Aliona Vilani hadn’t grown a giant pair of horns.
