The agitating Samyukta Loktantrik Madhesi Morcha (SLMM) carried out a torch rally in Saptari district headquarters Rajbiraj on Thursday, to mark the 132nd day of ongoing Tarai agitation.Hundreds of leaders, cadres participated in the rally that took a tour around city before finally turning into a corner assembly at Janaandolan Chok. The Morcha that has been agitating, for what it calls broader rights to Madhesis including redrawing of provincial boundaries, has recently announced additional protest programmes citing that government turned deaf ear to their demands. As a part of this protest programmes, the Morcha carried out torch rally at Rajbiraj, Bhardaha, Rupani, among other places, in the district.
