It may be cliche, but yes another year has passed in the blink of an eye. Well, no matter, it’s time to celebrate — accomplishments achieved in 2015 and the mystery of what is to come in 2016. It will be a moveable feast of parties around the Island as all the bars still open will light up dance floors for the last big night of the year until summer.For any parents who need to spend some necessary time primping for the night ahead, the Edgartown Library will be hosting a screening of a Pixar movie followed by a dance party from 1 to 3 p.m. Note, kids under age eight will need to be accompanied by an adult. But on the Eve, Dec. 31, a few highlights include the Harbor View Hotel’s annual New Year’s Eve Celebration bash beginning at 8 p.m. Watch from the porch at midnight as fireworks light up the sky over the Edgartown Lighthouse.
